British Compliance chief calls on firms to invest in compliance; warns against frameworks being relegated to ‘binders on a bookshelf’

The UK agency responsible for tackling economic crime has said its focus on compliance has grown considerably since its early days.

Serious Fraud Office (SFO) Director Lisa Osofsky said that the organisation has taken steps to emphasise why compliance is so important and has called on companies to invest in it.
