Risk chief at Credit Suisse facing backlash over multi-billion-dollar losses from recent scandals

Credit Suisse is facing a further headache this week as shareholders move to oust the board member in charge of risk oversight.

Andreas Gottschling of Germany – who has led the global investment bank’s risk committee since 2018 – is now facing anger from a varied collection of shareholders over back-to-back insolvency scandals that have cost the institution billions.
