The President of FATF, Dr. Marcus Pleyer has praised the new EU AML package, saying it would “strengthen global leadership of the European Union on financial integrity”.
Speaking to the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC), Dr. Pleyer said this package would “enhance further harmonisation” and provide a “level playing field” for AML regulations across the bloc.
