A dedicated crypto National Cryptocurrency Enforcement Team will be set up in the United States to counter the threat of financial criminals.
Announced this month by Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco, the NCET will aim to “tackle complex investigations and prosecutions of criminal misuses of cryptocurrency” and will be led by her colleague, fellow AAG Kenneth A Polite Jr.
