Legal chief and FinCrime expert David Fein to retire from Standard Chartered – CEO praises him for making the institution ‘a stronger and safer bank’

One of Standard Chartered’s foremost authorities on financial crime is to leave his role as the bank’s group general counsel at the end of this year.

David Fein, who joined the British bank in 2013, will now move on to a London-based law firm but will stay on in a special advisory capacity to SC’s CEO Bill Winters until the middle of next year.
