European Commissioner for Financial Services, Financial Stability and Capital Markets Union, Mairead McGuinness today said she could “count on the French Presidency of the European Union to continue the momentum” needed for the implementation of the Commission’s AML package announced last July.
Speaking today at a press conference hosted by the French Ministry of the Economy & Finance and Ministry of the Interior, Commissioner McGuinness said the Commission “stands ready to help and support” the French Presidency in its steps to tackle FinCrime in the bloc.
