The United States moved today to impose sanctions in response to Russia’s movement of troops into the two separatist enclaves of eastern Ukraine
The European Union and UK were announcing their sanctions later today.
The US has immediately signed an Executive Order (EO) of sanctions around any economic activity in the so-called Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics (DNR and LNR) which Russia drew condemnation for recognising as “independent” states.
