NEWS: AML dangers of crowdfunding and outsourced CDD are highlighted as Europe’s supervisory agencies adapt for ‘fit-for-purpose’ digital finance

CROWDFUNDING, CDD outsourcing and data sharing between institutions and police were the top three risks identified by Europe’s supervisory agencies as the bloc upgrades its digital finance adoption.

The risks were identified by the EU’s main supervisory authorities who have called for “rapid action” to ensure financial services regulation is “fit-for-purpose” in the digital age.
