The United States has today unveiled its latest sanctions package targeting Russia’s largest financial institution, Sberbank and its largest private bank, Alfa Bank.
In a statement released by The White House, it said the United States with the G7 and the European Union will “continue to impose severe and immediate economic costs on the Putin regime for its atrocities in Ukraine, including in Bucha.”
