The President of De Nederlandsche Bank and Chair of the Financial Stability Board, Klaas Knot has said the financial system is not “totally off the hook” after the global pandemic.
Although the global financial system “weathered the pandemic fairly well,” financial and economic sanctions, coupled with restrictions on trade as a result of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, has led to uncertainty.
