NEWS: Six factory workers receive suspended sentences for money laundering

Six fruit factory workers have been given suspended sentences for working as money mules and helping to launder hundreds of thousands of euros.

Four men and two women employed by Keelings Fruit were enlisted by an unnamed man, referred to in court as a “money mule herder,” to allow their bank accounts to be used to launder the proceeds of crime, the Dublin Circuit Criminal Court heard on Monday.
