The Director of the Centre for Financial Crime and Security Studies at RUSI has warned that “stale thinking” and “inaction” will threaten commitments made by G7 members to tackle kleptocracy and corruption.
Tom Keatinge, Director at the CFCS at RUSI, and Research Fellow Maria Nizzero argued that the G7 summit’s “renewed focus on kleptocracy will fail if commitments are not paired with fresh energy and concrete action”, in a recent publication.
