NEWS: Hong Kong Monetary Authority fines Commerzbank HK$6M (€768K) over AML Failures

Hong Kong’s Monetary Authority (HKMA) has fined Commerzbank’s Hong Kong branch HK$6M (€768K) for AML/CFT failures.

In a statement, the HKMA announced it had conducted an investigation into the Hong Kong Commerzbank branch under the country’s Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing Ordinance (AMLO).
