Binance’s Chief Communications Officer has warned there has been a “recent spike” in scammers posing as employees of the crypto exchange on social media, after he fell victim earlier this year.
In a blog post Patrick Hillmann, explained he had received several messages thanking him for taking the time to meet with project leaders regarding opportunities to list their crypto assets on Binance. However, he said this was off as he did have “any oversight of or insight into Binance listings”, and not met with any of these people before.
