Former Brexit party leader lashes out after being offered a NatWest standard personal account 

DE-BANKED: Controversy around how UK financial institutions interact with PEPs erupted last year. This came after it emerged that Alison Rose, the chief executive of Coutts’s owner, NatWest, had discussed the matter of Nigel Farage’s bank account with a BBC journalist. Today the FCA issued its findings on how banks deal with PEPs.

It has been announced that Nigel Farage’s bank accounts with Coutts will be closed and he will be transferring them to NatWest. 

Last week, the former Brexit party leader said he had been shut out of an unnamed “prestigious” bank, according to The Financial Times.
