GOLD HEIST: "FINTRAC’s financial intelligence was recognized by Peel Regional Police in Project 24KARAT, an investigation of a cargo theft containing 6600 bars of .9999% pure gold valued at over 20 million dollars and 2.5 million dollars worth in foreign currency," the agency said Wednesday.
