Felix Sater, a Russian-born real estate developer and former associate of Donald Trump, has lost a civil trial in which he was accused of helping to launder millions of dollars through US real estate.
The case involves Viktor Khrapunov, a former government minister in Kazakhstan. The Kazakhstani government has claimed that Khrapunov has embezzled millions of dollars and the ex-politician is wanted by Interpol.
