NEWS: Fintech Solaris threatened with further fines by German regulator BaFin over AML issues

Germany’s BaFin regulator BaFin has said it has threatened fast-growing fintech Solaris with further penalties if it fails to meet AML filing deadlines.

BaFin said Solaris has yet to fully remedied issues it was ordered to fix in 2022. The organisation also said that it has extended the mandate of an independent monitor it previously appointed for Solaris.
