NEWS: U.S. and Bonaire share proceeds of shutting down black market for Venezuelan bolivars

THE U.S. has shared $300,000 in forfeited criminal assets with the Dutch Caribbean island Bonaire after shutting down a black market for exchanging Venezuelan bolivars for U.S. dollars.

The transfer marks the first international sharing of forfeited assets between the U.S. and Bonaire, which is located about 80 kilometres off the coast of Venezuela.
