IRS-Criminal Investigation Chief Guy Ficco will be a Keynote Speaker at ‘International Anti-Financial Crime Summit 2024’ in London on October 9 next, it was announced today.
Internal Revenue Service – Criminal Investigation (IRS-CI), one of the most powerful federal law enforcement agencies in the U.S., is at the forefront of fighting money laundering in all its guises and on all platforms.
Chief Ficco is responsible for overseeing a worldwide staff of 3,200 criminal investigation employees.
The agency has more than 2,100 special agents in 20 Field Offices and 11 foreign countries who investigate crimes involving money laundering, public corruption and terrorist-financing.
Prior to his selection as Chief of IRS-CI, Mr Ficco served as the organisation’s Deputy Chief.
Earlier in his career, he oversaw the agency’s international operations. He has also helped to implement many of IRS-CI’s policies for financial crime investigations.
Mr Ficco joins an outstanding list of leading financial crime figures. It was announced last week that FATF President Elisa de Anda Madrazo will deliver the conference’s Opening Address.

‘International Anti-Financial Crime Summit 2024’ takes place at the 10 Union Street convention centre (within The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists building) in central London and convenient to London Bridge transport hub.
The Summit is gathering the top speakers among AFC leaders from the UK and beyond to discuss the most topical issues in FCC in banking, fintech, gaming and insurance.
