NEWS: FCA chair Ashley Alder cleared of wrongdoing in handling of whistleblower complaint

Ashley Alder, chair of the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), has been cleared of wrongdoing in how he handled whistleblower complaints, despite accusations that he broke FCA rules.

An internal investigation, led by Richard Lloyd, senior independent director at the FCA, found that Mr Alder acted “reasonably.”
