NEWS: Watchdog boss predicts comeback in ‘plea bargains’ for UK firms to settle fraud cases

New UK fraud laws could lead to a rise in plea-bargain-style deals, according to the head of the UK’s Serious Fraud Office (SFO). 

Nick Ephgrave expects deferred prosecution agreements (DPAs) to make a strong comeback when new legislation, which requires companies to prevent fraud, comes into effect next year.
