MORE THAN 300 fincrime professionals attended across the two days of London ‘International Anti-Financial Crime Summit 2024’ on October 8 and 9 last.

IAFCS2024 kicked off on ‘Day Zero’ Closed Session for C-Suite FCC leaders, regulators and law enforcement chiefs. This Roundtable was held in the convivial surroundings of the Royal Overseas Legion at Six Park Place, St James’ – not far from Buckingham Palace.

It was followed by the Speakers’ Dinner with Guest-of-Honor, FATF President Elisa de Anda Madrazo.

The following morning the FATF President officially opened IAFCS2024 at the 10 Union Street convention center, delivering the opening address in front of more than 300 delegates.

Ms de Anda spoke of the importance of data sharing and better relations between regulators on the privacy side and of course AML supervisors.

The FATF President also outlined the new rules governing “grey listing” countries.
