NEWS: Europe’s ‘Big Three’ want to water down banking regulations

France, Germany, and Italy are calling on the EU to scale back its planned banking rules to help Europe compete better on the global stage.

In a letter sent to the European Commission, the finance chiefs of the three largest EU economies argue that the bloc’s banks need less regulation to remain competitive internationally.
