Criminal probes into individual banking figures actually risk making it more difficult to fight financial crime, a top executive has warned.

Philippe Vollot, Rabobank’s Chief Financial Economic Crime Officer, also said Rabobank spent €1 billion in 2023 alone boosting its AML defenses.
