NEWS: CEO of AllHere, promising education AI chatbot, charged with defrauding investors

FEDERAL prosecutors have charged Joanna Smith-Griffin, founder of education-technology startup AllHere Education, with defrauding investors.

Smith-Griffin, allegedly secured $10 million in investments under false pretenses, according to an indictment unsealed in New York. She is accused of falsifying the company’s financials and client base.
