NEWS: South Africa’s hopes of exiting FATF ‘greylist’ get a boost after positive report

The FATF has said South Africa is tackling its AML deficiencies, boosting hopes it will exit the organization’s ‘grey list’.

In 2023, South Africa was placed on the list, which marks countries which have problems with their AML measures. The designation often leads to a significant drop in international investment.
