ABU Dhabi’s Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) has fined Aarna Capital Limited $504,000 for failing to maintain adequate AML systems and controls between June 2017 and January 2023.

The FSRA’s investigation uncovered significant breaches, including insufficient AML policies, inadequate customer due diligence (CDD), and failures to assess AML risks or assign appropriate risk ratings to clients.
