LATEST: Bruna Szego overwhelmingly approved by MEPs as AMLA Chair

DUBLIN-BOUND: AMLA chair Bruna Szego will deliver a Keynote Address at 'European Anti-Financial Crime Summit 2025', on May 7 it was announced today (Thurs).

BRUNA Szego has been approved by MEPs as Chair of the EU Anti-Money Laundering Authority.

Ms Szego, who currently leads the anti-money laundering supervision and regulation unit at the Bank of Italy, received 569 votes in favour, 20 against, and 61 abstentions.
