MAXIMILIANO Dávila-Perez, the former head of Bolivia’s anti-narcotics agency, Fuerza Especial de Lucha Contra el Narcotráfico (FELCN), has been extradited to the United States to face federal charges.

U.S. authorities allege Dávila-Perez conspired to import cocaine into the U.S. and used machineguns to protect the drug shipments.
