NEWS: AMLA reveals the key hires it plans in 2025 – data analysts among those prioritized

AMLA: France's Olivier Salles, who heads up the European Commission's AMLA Task Force, has been appointed interim Executive Director of the new agency. He said it is hoped the new chair, Bruna Szego, will be in place by January.

AMLA will initially focus on hiring data analysts and those with legal and policy experience as the new agency aims to build a workforce, the organization’s interim boss has said.

Olivier Salles, AMLA’s interim executive director, said quickly building up its data capabilities could improve cooperation with other watchdogs.
