NEWS: SFO recovers £1M from ‘utterly dishonest’ lawyer jailed for fraud

THE UK’s Serious Fraud Office (SFO) has recovered over £1 million from former solicitor Timothy Schools, convicted in 2022 for orchestrating a fraudulent investment scheme that left hundreds of investors out of pocket.

Schools, 61, was sentenced to 14 years in prison for using the Cayman Islands-based Axiom Legal Financing Fund to defraud investors.
