THE Internal Revenue Service’s criminal investigation unit (IRS-CI) has launched a new initiative to improve collaboration with financial institutions.
The program, Feedback in Response to Strategic Threat (CI-FIRST), was announced Friday. It aims to streamline subpoena requests, provide banks with better data, and speed up financial crime investigations.
