NEWS: EPPO seeks 50% funding boost due to rising fraud cases

THE European Public Prosecutor’s Office (EPPO) is seeking a nearly 50% budget increase as it handles a sharp rise in fraud cases.

The Luxembourg-based body plans to request just under €125 million for its 2026 budget, up from its current budget of almost €86 million. The figures appear in its new multi-year plan for 2026 to 2028.
