JEREMY WEIL, vice president of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) will deliver a Keynote Address at ‘European Anti-Financial Crime Summit 2025’, it’s been announced today (Thursday).
Mr Weil is one of the Keynote Speakers at the Summit, being held in Dublin on May 7 next.
The event will be attended by 700+ senior and C-Suite AFC professionals and hear an address from Eurogroup President Paschal Donohoe.
EAFCS2025 It will see Bruna Szego give one of her first public addresses since taking over as chair of the EU’s new AML Authority (AMLA).

FATF vice president Jeremy Weil will give an update of the latest fincrime policy shifts from the FATF, the Paris-based organization which effectively sets international AML standards.

Appointed as FATF vice-chair in 2023, Mr. Weil also serves as Department of Finance Canada’s Senior Director of International Financial Crime Policy and Sanctions. In addition, he is the Chair of the IMF’s AML/CFT Thematic Fund Steering Committee.
Mr Weil’s address at EAFCS 2025 is set to contain crucial insight for AFC chiefs and decision makers in banking, fintech, crypto and law enforcement.
