NEWS: SFO new policy pushes DPAs as alternative to fraud prosecutions for UK firms

THE UK’s Serious Fraud Office (SFO) has issued new guidance pushing Deferred Prosecution Agreements (DPAs) as a way for companies to avoid fraud prosecutions.

Under the new guidance, businesses that self-report and fully cooperate may avoid prosecution by negotiating a DPA.
