NEWS: Vatican City suspicious activity reports drop sharply; focus on ‘quality,’ Holy See claims

The Vatican revamps its AML regulation

THE number of suspicious activity reports (SARs) from the Vatican City fell significantly last year, something officials attributed to a focus on higher-quality reviews.

There were 79 SARs filed in 2024, down from 123 in 2023.
