By Alisha Houlihan for AMLi

Swiss authorities are believed to be seeking FR42M (€40M) in compensation from Credit Suisse Group AG, in a 14-year investigation into its alleged failure to prevent money laundering by a Bulgarian drug ring.

Earlier this week, Switzerland’s federal criminal court released a document that alleged “serious organisational shortcomings” at the bank, according to a report published at SonntagsZeitung.
