Officials from Europol and Eurojust have arrested 45 criminals in a collective operation on February 15th which led to the disruption of an Albanian-speaking mafia organisation involved in drug trafficking and money laundering.
Sergio Nazzaro, Spokesperson for the Chairman of the Parliamentary Ecomafie Commission, reported the group were trafficking cocaine from Latin America to Europe which was handled by the criminal organisation by sea and air transport.
