A HUGE Russian criminal network has been shut down by Spanish authorities – alongside multiple arrests and asset seizures – in an operation described as the biggest of its kind in a decade.
Aside from crimes including money laundering, drug and human trafficking and extortion, the network also managed to infiltrate various levels of government administration in Spain, resulting in undue influence and political favours.
