The European Anti-Financial Crime Summit (EAFCS), hosted by AML Intelligence, is set to return to Dublin on May 6 and 7, 2025.

With demand for the event growing rapidly, attendance is expected to rise from 650 participants in 2024 to an anticipated 900 in 2025, underscoring the summit’s increasing importance for industry leaders and policymakers.

Registration is now open HERE.

The EAFCS is a key platform for top executives from banks, financial institutions, tech companies, regulators, and policymakers to discuss the most pressing issues in anti-financial crime.

The summit, which has become one of the most significant events on the European calendar, offers attendees the chance to hear from high-profile speakers and network with influential decision-makers in the field.

High-Profile Speakers

The summit has earned a reputation for attracting top-tier speakers from the industry, and the 2025 lineup promises to maintain that standard. The full list of speakers is set to be announced in the coming months – attendees can expect leaders from banking, financial services, regulatory bodies, and law enforcement.

The 2024 summit featured influential figures such as Eurogroup President Paschal Donohoe, who delivered the opening address, and former FATF President Dr. Marcus Pleyer.

Other notable speakers included Antoine Magnant, the director of French FIU TRACFIN Derville Rowland, Deputy Governor at the Central Bank of Ireland, and executives from companies such as Stripe, Wise, Moody’s and EY.

Cutting-Edge Discussions

In addition to keynote speeches, panel discussions at the 2025 summit will cover a broad range of topics, including the latest trends in AML, the use of AI and machine learning to combat financial crime, and the evolving regulatory landscape in Europe.

Previous editions have featured in-depth analysis of international financial crime cases, offering attendees insights into the challenges and opportunities facing the sector.

The success of the 2024 summit, held at Dublin’s RDS Convention Centre, saw a record 650 professionals participate.
