NEWS:  Police say €10m stolen in Venezuelan fraud shifted through Irish investment funds – report

Irish authorities are reportedly investigating €10 million in stolen funds linked to a billion-dollar fraud in Venezuela, which allegedly ended up in high-end Irish investment funds. 

The Criminal Assets Bureau (CAB) suspects an international “professional money launderer” attempted to launder these criminal proceeds through Irish financial institutions.
