NEWS: EBA warning for crypto firms in Europe – new AML rules apply from 1 January 2025

NEWLY-FORMED cryptocurrency companies operating in Europe have been warned that tighter AML rules will apply from the new year.

The European Banking Authority said that crypto-asset service providers, called CASPs, already operating will be given a longer ‘grandfathering’ period.
