NEWS: Australia introduces beneficial ownership rules in AML overhaul – but public access will be limited

AUSTRALIA is set to introduce new beneficial ownership reporting requirements alongside of an overhaul of its AML regime.

The changes, led by the Australian Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre (AUSTRAC), aim to tighten oversight of high-risk sectors and enhance compliance measures.
