LATEST: Australian watchdog sues Ladbrokes’ owner Entain for ‘systemic’ AML breaches

AUSTRALIA’S financial watchdog, AUSTRAC, has initiated civil proceedings against Entain, the global sports betting group behind Ladbrokes and Neds, alleging systemic breaches of AML laws.

This marks the first such action against a sports betting company in Australia following an investigation launched last year.
