NEWS: Avalon Ingram, fincrime leader at SWIFT bank payments network, to speak at ‘European Anti-Financial Crime Summit 2025’

AVALON Ingram, head of fincrime at SWIFT, will join as a speaker at ‘European Anti-Financial Crime Summit 2025’, it was confirmed today.

Ms Ingram, who leads the APAC and MENA Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) Initiatives team at SWIFT bank payments network, joins a stellar list of influential industry figures speaking at EAFCS2025 in Dublin on May 7 next.

More high profile speakers will be announced in the New Year at Europe’s leading AFC event, attended by some 700 C-suite and decision-maker delegates. Early-bird tickets and further details on the Summit are available HERE.

Avalon will be joined by other prominent fincrime fighters including Linda Hamilton, the newly appointed Executive Director and the head of Financial Crime Operations at JP MorganChase.

Also confirmed was Sarah Beth Felix, the CEO at Palmera Consulting and the co-founder and Chief AML Officer at Acceleron Bank.

The three bring a wealth of AFC experience. Ms Ingram began her career at Dow Jones and now focuses on driving adoption of SWIFT’s value-added shared services in areas such as AML, CTF, and fraud prevention. 

She first joined SWIFT in 206, working as a manager in the area o Financial Crime Compliance, rejoining the organization in 2019.

During her time away from SWIFT, Avalon contributed to a RegTech startup

specializing in AI and natural language processing, delivering a KYC platform for the banking sector. 

She also served on the board of the RegTech sub-committee of the Singapore FinTech Association (2020–2021) and is a frequent commentator at FCC industry events across the region.

As well as Avalon Ingram, Sarah-Beth Felix and Linda Hamilton, other speakers announced for the European Anti-Financial Crime Summit 2025 include Member of the Gender Equality Advisory Committee to the G7 Frances Fitzgerald.
