IT HAS just been announced the Minister for Justice of Ireland, Helen McEntee will officially open next week’s #WomeninFinCrime event.
The event hosted by AML Intelligence in association with NICE Actimize will showcase excellence in the sector and has been organised in the lead up to the celebration of International Women’s Day (IWD). The conference will include a panel discussion with leading female executives and specialists in anti-money laundering and financial crime.
With already more than 350 registered attendees, the event will see a number of high-profile senior executives from across Europe tuning in for this discussion. The delegates include many women senior executives and leaders working in anti-money laundering, financial crime compliance (FCC), CDD and KYC sectors, including women working in top law enforcement agencies.

Minister McEntee has served in the Irish Government since 2013. She has previously served as Minister of State European Affairs from 2017 to 2020 and Minister of State for Mental Health and Older People from 2016 to 2017.
She is the fourth female Minister for Justice in Ireland’s history, and has pledged to tackle financial and economic crime during her tenure.
The congress will be moderated by broadcaster Andrea Gilligan and will see contributions from Rachel Pollock, Vice President Professional Services EMEA at NICE Actimize, Federica Taccogna, Partner FTI Consulting, Sujata Dasgupta, Global Head of Financial Crimes Compliance Advisory at Tata Consultancy.
