Chief Privacy Officer and Managing Director of the London Stock Exchange, Vivienne Artz is joining the stellar line up of speakers at the upcoming AML Intelligence Boardroom Series event on July 22, it has just been announced.
Ms Artz is one of Europe’s leading voices in compliance, anti-financial crime and privacy.
She joins John Berrigan, Director General of the European Commission’s DG FISMA, and Jesper Berg, General Director of the Danish FSA at this major conference for compliance professionals.
‘Europe’s AML Regime Explained’ is scheduled less than 48 hours after the publication of the European Commission’s AML action plan, with Mr Berrigan expected to outline the detail behind the headlines of the adoption rollout.
The special July 22 conference will hear about the Single Supervisor, Single Rule Book, new crypto laws, co-operation plans for the bloc’s FIUs and how the EU’s new cash transaction limits will work.

Our latest speaker Vivienne Artz OBE leads the London Stock Exchanges’ Global Privacy Office and is tasked with overseeing global privacy strategy and practice. Previously she was Chief Privacy Officer at Refinitiv and Thomson Reuters.
She also previously served as Managing Director and Global Head of Privacy Legal and Head of International for the Intellectual Property and Technology Law Group at Citi.
Vivienne chairs the International Regulatory Strategy Group Data Working Group and is also the Vice Chair on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
Ms Artz is an Advisory Board member of the Women in Banking and Finance Group, and previously served as President and CEO from 2017-2020.
Ms Artz was awarded the Champion for Women Award at the Women in Banking and Finance Awards for Achievement in 2016, and was awarded an OBE in the Queen’s New Year’s Honours in 2021 for services to financial services and gender diversity.
